- 2 pounds chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup sriracha sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
- Chopped green onions for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
- In a separate bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are cooked through and crispy.
- Remove the wings from the oven.
- Pour the honey sriracha sauce over the hot wings and toss to coat evenly.
- Return the wings to the oven for another 5-10 minutes, or until the glaze is sticky and caramelized.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.
Notes
- For crispier wings, bake them for an additional 10-15 minutes after tossing with the sauce.
- Adjust the amount of sriracha to control the spice level.
- If you don’t have rice vinegar, you can substitute with white vinegar.
